Emotionless, motionless, brainless and many more "less"-es like as though I am a non-living thing.Wait a minute.....a fruit is a non-living thing.Well if I really had to be a fruit I would be a mango.(seriously,i have no other option). Mangoes are delicious and change colour when they ripen. They are sweet and I really like them.(But if I eat too much I will get a sore throat)But I mean who would want to be a fruit. You cannot talk, blog, move, think and do lots of other stuff that man can do that fruit cannot.Well I would choose to be a mango over the rest of the different fruits.

"Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot." Clarence Thomas
Actually it's quiet true.If you are extremely smart you will get lots of opportunities for your future. However, if you do not have a good attitude you will never succeed in life even if you study well.If you are not that good in your studies but show good attitude and never give up, then you will get flows of opportunity for your future. This might also apply while entering a secondary school. If you want to go to a prestigious school like Raffles Institution, the school will not only look at your results but also your attitude towards learning new stuff.
Same for applying a new job.If you want to become a doctor, your education is important but the most important thing is the will to save the lives of the patients.Imagine if the whole world was filled with lazy doctors. If a pandemic like H1N1 breaks out, the doctors would not bother to save the suffering patients and lie to the patients relatives.Such things do happen in some countries such as India and other poor countries.
Even my family suffered this.On the day of Christmas,2007 my uncle in India was riding his motorbike when suddenly,a lorry rammed him.He was admitted to hospital immediately. My mother flew to India to comfort by aunt. The doctors examined him and said that he was in a coma. After hearing this we were really worried. After a few days, the doctors said that my uncle was fine and breathing well but actually he was still battling for his life.On New Year's Day eve my uncle passed away leaving behind his two young teenaged daughters. We were shocked as the doctors said that he would make a full recovery.
I really hope that there would soon be doctors with a good attitude and work not only to earn money but to help the society. So what Clarence Thomas made sense.

MY Neighbours
I used to have horrible neighbors who usually cooked like as though for 100 people. The smell used to be so horrible that we used to practically imprison ourselves by locking the door and closing the windows. They cooked a lot as they were having a hostel.Hence there were many students there making a lot of noise and it was a nuisance. We complained to the Management numerous times but the neighbors still did not take any action. They actually owned 2 units and the other one was like a zoo. They had rabbits, parrots and other pets in cages along the corridor.I think no one should own condominiums and start a hostel.Luckily we moved to a new house and we have German neighbours. They are kind and not a nuisance.I really hope it stays this way.

NE Show
The NE Show last Saturday in the Floating stadium was how do I describe it...fantastic.The environment was amazing with over 22000 pupils from about 85 primary schools in Singapore.First we had to be in school by 2pm sharp. So much for the sharp,we only left the school at 3.30 pm!Well while in school,we got our Funpacks and KFC meal.Among the colours I got pink.(Why me!!)However I changed the top of the Funpack with blue which I found on the floor.(I did not steal it)When we left for the Floating stadium I was so excited. It would be my first time going to the Floating stadium. There,it was as packed as packed as a tin of sardines. My ex-schoolmates were also there but I could not meet them.We were seated and there were more delays until about 5pm.Finally the show began with the EYE.It started to screen some words.I feel that the EYE was quite cool as it was an interactive machine. Then there were these amazing dances and there was a ten-part plat about the history of Singapore. There was also the Red lions who parachuted from a hight of unimaginable heights. The best part was the part when they showed Marina Bay under a terror threat.First there was a bomb blast and the bomb squad was deployed. Then there was a high-speed boat chase and finally there was a sea mine which exploded. The as we were about to say the Pledge there was a torrential rain and we were drenched to the skin .I just removed my poncho and enjoyed the rain.Even the guest-of-honour was drenched.Altogether those were the best 7 hours of my life.

Would I live in Ancient Greece
Well ........the answer is more or less a yes and a no.I might have complete freedom in Greece thousands of years ago.I have complete control over my property and other stuff. It would have be great to see all those temples or even when they are still under construction we can see enter the temples and buildings that have never been seen before but were eventually destroyed over the years.I could see the bronze statue of Alexandre The Great which was destroy by an earthquake or even for all you know meet the ruler of Greece while he his parading in the streets.I can also learn about the method of learning in Greece. It would have been fantastic. However, children in our generation cann ot imagine a place without electricity and other modern stuff.Hence there comes the no.But if I ever get the chance to travel back in time and visit Ancient Greece I would defenitely accept the offer.

Breaking news 2:King of Pop Dead
Last week the world lost its best ever pop singer,Michael Jackson.Michael was at the age of 50 when he died in Los Angeles home on Thursday afternoon,25 June 2009.The cause of death is still unknown but family members say that Michael Jackson suffered a heart attack and collapsed. He never regained consciousness.People say that MJ could have died of an overdose of pain killers.I think MJ was too stressed out because of the rehearsals 50 concerts he was going to perform next month.I was really looking forward to his comeback gig.I,being a fan of Michael Jackson, was devastated when I first came to know about the King of pop's death.I liked the album Thriller which is currently the all time best-selling album.MJ is not only remembered for his great music but also for his theme park, Neverland.MJ was actually a black American but he suffered a disease which turned his skin white in colour. Then he went for plastic surgery which some people say could have killed him.Still there are many unanswered questions surrounding Michael Jackson's death but I end this post with this short message:R.I.P Michael Jackson,King of Pop.

Father's Day
So, maybe my holidays are not totally ruined. For Father's Day, my father brought the whole family to Sentosa. There, there was massive construction going on for The Resort's World which will be opening in 2010.It has the Universal Studios,Asia's largest marine park in which there could be a whale shark.I just cannot wait for it to open. One roller -coaster ride was completed and it actually appeared in National Geographic for the top ten most exhilarating rides ever built. The Resort's World actually takes up a quarter of Sentosa island.Well, besides this it is the normal Sentosa except for the Segway and Luge. The Segway is actually something like a skates-scooter but electronically controlled. It is not that easy as you have to lean forward for it to move forward and pull it to brake. The course is made up of several hairpin turns.I could clear those turns but I accelerated too much and the machine jumped and stalled while I fell down suffering a cut on my palm. For this simple ride I got hurt hence I expected more cuts and bruises in the luge ride. However,I came out without even the slightest of cuts.I zoomed down the track and cut the corners with out listening to the people on guards' advice. Then I went to the wax museum which was then renamed Images of Singapore. All the figures were life-like and there was set of Chinatown and other historic places. It was really as though that I was in the real place.Next I went to the Tiger Sky Tower. from 50 stories high I could see the whole of the Singapore skyline. The view was so breath-taking.Then I went to the 4D magix. It is a show in 3-D and there are special effects like when someone falls into the water you will be splashed with water. It was really amazing. Then,I went on a 3-d simulation ride like the one in Science Centre. At last I went to the Songs of the Sea.It a musical near the sea.i think the show was OK.The special effects was good but the storyline was horrible.Altogether that day was the best day of my holidays.
